Glentleiten open-air museum

The new entrance building with gastronomy and exhibition areas was supposed to complement the existing open-air museum of farmhouses of different origins. For this reason, the shape of the new building creates a close relationship to the traditional, rural architecture of this area through its roof geometry and materiality. At the same time, however, the shapes appear dynamic and modern. By breaking up the building, they take up the dimensions of the farmhouses and yet are connected to one another in the basement.
